Is Therapy Confidential?

Absolutely. What you share in session stays in session. We follow strict ethical and legal confidentiality guidelines. The only exceptions involve imminent risk—such as serious threats to your safety or others’—and these are clearly explained during your intake.

If you're a teen or coming in with a family, we take extra care to clarify what information is shared and what remains private. Our therapists are trained in working across generations with respect and transparency.

"Knowing I could speak freely without judgment or fear gave me the courage to open up about things I’ve never told anyone."Maria L., Fort Lee, NJ
